Airport Pick-up
We pick up students from the airport and we drive them to their accommodation destination.

Full board includes three meals a day. Each guest has a private room (students can request a share room if a friend is coming with them) with a bed, a desk a lamp, a chest of drawers, and closet, clean bedding, laundry facilities, Access to High speed Internet.

Half board includes breakfast and Dinner. Each guest has a private room (students can request a share room if a friend is coming with them) with a bed, a desk a lamp, a chest of drawers, and closet, clean bedding, laundry facilities, and Internet.

Breakfast: A typical breakfast in Canada is cereal, or toast and jam, or waffles, Milk or juice, tea or coffee.

Lunch:  Either you or your family will pack your lunch for you.

Lunch is usually a sandwich, a juice, fruit, cookies or you may prefer to have a soup or salad or Dinner leftovers.

Dinner: Dinner will vary from family to family.

We try to match the students with homestays according to their preferences. Within the first week, in case they are not happy with the homestay we are responsible to move the student to another homestay once.

CUSTODIANS RESPONSIBILITIES

CANADA IMMIGRATION REQUIRES A CUSTODIAN FOR STUDENTS UNDER 19 TO ISSUE A STUDY VISA.

The custodian is responsible for the following:

  1. Greet the student at the airport and drive him/her to the homestay.
  2. Make sure the student has all the information needed and what to do in case he/she needs help.
  3. Help student to open a Bank Account
  4. Make sure he/her is happy with his/her homestay arrangement and explain to him/her what to expect from the homestay and what is expected from him/her, so both sides are happy.
  5. In case a problem arises between the student and the homestay the custodian will try to solve the problem and if the problem is not solved to move the student to a new homestay.
  6. Educate the student about the Canadian culture.
  7. Show the student how the transit system works, and how to go to school from his/her homestay. The custodian has to make sure that an adult will take the student to school the first day, and make sure the student knows how to get back home
  8. Custodians must communicate with the school teachers for the students’ progress.
  9. The custodians must sign any necessary documents related to school activities. Trip permission etc.
  10. Make sure that the students attend school every day and remind the student the importance of his/her studies.
  11. In case the student gets sick, take the student to the Doctor if necessary.
  12. Contact the parents in case of emergency.

The student has to remember that the custodian it will be the Canadian parent since the parents are not here.
